It’s hard to believe we are already entering a new year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season.

At FMG, we continually monitor current marketing trends and consistently see an increase in digital advertising. It is the quickest way to promote your new products, push a promotion or drive business to your new website. It’s also a great place to target the younger demographic. And while I agree with this advertising plan, I still stress the importance of print! Print offers a steady increase in sales, a great reference for products and targets your die-hard audience.

That being said, don’t forget to reserve space in our upcoming SHOT Show recap issue in March Shooting Industry (Jan. 30 deadline), long-range shooting issue of GUNS Magazine in May (Feb. 8 deadline) and our May/June wheelgun issue of American Handgunner (Feb. 7 deadline).

SHOT Show is quickly approaching and this year is proving to be another busy event. My inbox is flooding with new product PR and my schedule for the show is filling up quickly. If you have not already scheduled a time to meet, make sure to do so fairly quickly. I would love to swing by your booth, meet you in person and take a few pictures and videos of your new and existing products to potentially promote on our social channels.
