#GUNVOTE’s Timely Resources
With Election Day a mere two months away — and a confirmed Biden-Harris ticket — registering to vote and being informed on where candidates stand on firearms ownership is paramount. NSSF’s #GUNVOTE initiative is available as a timely resource for industry businesses and the millions of first-time gun owners — providing links to register to vote and polling places.
Since every state’s election rules vary — and with in-person voting likely to be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic — the #GUNVOTE site also provides a link to all 50 U.S. Secretaries of State websites, which directs voters to information on early and absentee voting.
The votes of target shooters, hunters and gun owners will be crucial in national, state and local elections — even more so here in 2020 with millions of first-time gun owners recorded in the first half of this year alone. It starts with registering to vote.
