Smith & Wesson Honors America’s 250th Anniversary with Limited-Edition Model 1854

32

In 1854, Smith & Wesson founders Horace Smith & Daniel Wesson patented their first lever gun and, to honor that historic milestone, the Model 1854 Series was born. Designed to embody the feel of Smith & Wesson’s revered large-frame revolvers and their smooth action, this rifle series delivers a platform built on craftsmanship, reliability, and performance.

Enthusiasts can own one of these exclusive lever-action rifles featuring exceptionally detailed engravings, available in either .44 Magnum or the time-honored .45-70 Government cartridge. Both limited-edition rifles include a traditional walnut stock and forend, a stainless-steel Armornite-finished barrel and receiver, a Picatinny base for mounting your preferred optics, an adjustable XS Sights ghost ring rear sight, and a gold bead front sight.

The .44 Magnum model boasts a 9+1 capacity, a removable magazine tube, and a 19.25-inch barrel. The long-action option, the .45-70 rifle, has a 6+1 capacity and a 20-inch barrel.

Finally, both models are equipped with a modern flat-face trigger, a large loop lever, a side loading gate, and a 11/16-24 thread pattern for suppressor use.
