FN America Updates SCAR, Launches Suppressors
FN America is launching a major update to its legendary SCAR platform alongside its first-ever line of purpose-built suppressors. These upgrades are driven by consumer feedback and aim to modernize the platform while maintaining its classic look and price point.
The Next-Generation SCAR
The updated rifle features more than 24 upgrades designed to improve the shooting experience without increasing the cost. Key improvements include:
Reduced Recoil: Significantly lower felt recoil for a “softer” shooting experience.
Improved Handling: Enhanced ergonomics make the rifle easier to operate and allow for faster follow-up shots.
Suppressor Optimized: Fully compatible with the new forward-venting suppressor technology.

FN QD Series Suppressors
For the first time, FN is offering dedicated rifle suppressors specifically engineered for the SCAR:
Calibers: Available in 5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm.
Design: Features a forward-vented design to reduce backpressure and improve reliability.
Mounting: Uses a Quick Disconnect (QD) system for easy attachment.
