SK Guns Honors 25 Years of Remembrance of 9/11 with Limited-Edition Custom 1911 Commander 9mm
SK Guns honors the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, with a special release. The custom firearms manufacturer is launching the “25 Years of Remembrance 9/11 2001-2026” 1911 Commander 9mm. This limited-edition pistol pays tribute to the victims, their families, heroes and the enduring spirit of the American people. Originally released in June, production is limited to 100 individually numbered pistols.
The custom 1911 Commander 9mm features a satin finish in diamond-like carbon and incorporates a series of commemorative engravings, designed to recognize the nation’s courage and resilience. On the left side of the slide, an engraving of the Twin Towers is accompanied by “25 Years of Remembrance” and the date “09/11/2026.” The right side carries the words “We Will Never Forget” alongside “09/11/2001,” remembering the lives lost and the heroism displayed that day and the 25-year span since the tragic events.

Accuracy X, Inc (AXI) introduced the M45A2 Battle Pistol, a hand-built tribute to the Colt M45A1 close-quarters battle pistol (CQBP) carried by U.S. Marine Corps special operations units, offered as a numbered collector set strictly limited to 11. The M45A1 CQBP served from 2012 to 2022 – 11 years – and Accuracy X is building one pistol for each of those years, engraving every example with its corresponding year.
Each of the 11 sets arrives as a complete collector’s package: the M45A2 Battle Pistol, an engraved USMC utility fighting knife, a life-size replica of the actual battle map of the Iwo Jima WWII campaign, a military-grade combat compass, a signed five-shot, 25-yard test target, and a branded hard case.
