SK Guns Supports Kids & Clays Through SK Gives Back Initiative

SK Guns is supporting Kids & Clays through their initiative, SK Gives Back. Kids & Clays is dedicated to improving the lives of critically ill children and their families by partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Chapters to host sporting clays, skeet and trap fundraising events.

“Through our SK Gives Back initiative, we’re proud to continue our support of Kids & Clays and participating Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapters,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Guns. “Kids & Clays gives shooters the chance to come together, change lives and give a new generation of shooters the opportunity of a lifetime. We’re dedicated to enhancing awareness of their mission through support, donations and more.”

Since 1999, Kids & Clays has generated more than $20 million through hosting and promoting sporting clays, trap and skeet events. More importantly, participation in the events facilitated by Kids & Clays has raised awareness for RMHC Chapters among the hunting and shooting community, while assisting hundreds of thousands of families served by Ronald McDonald Houses each day.

The SK Gives Back initiative provides and enhances personal growth and development opportunities to organizations that are making an impact across the country. The initiative supports a wide array of causes as regular donors to foundations such as the NWTF, the DC Project, Kids & Clays and more. By regularly donating firearms to these organizations, the program gives back to those in need on a local and national level.

Brownells Donates $22,222 To National, State Gun Rights Groups

Brownells donated $22,222 to three different gun rights organizations as part of the second annual 2A Day celebration held on February 22, 2023.

The organizations that received a $22,222 check were the Second Amendment Foundation, Gun Owners of America and the Iowa Firearms Coalition.

“As an advocate for the Second Amendment, Brownells takes great pride in supporting the fundamental right of individuals to own firearms,” said Brownells CEO Pete Brownell. “We believe responsible gun ownership is essential to safeguard the liberties and freedoms of all Americans. That’s why we are honored to contribute $22,222 to the Second Amendment Foundation, Gun Owners of America and the Iowa Firearms Coalition.”

Recently, the Second Amendment Foundation has been involved in lawsuits against the ATF’s attempts to regulate items that are not firearms as if they were firearms, New York’s attempt to largely ban concealed carry and bans on semi-automatic firearms in Illinois.

Gun Owners of America filed suit over the ATF’s attempt to ban pistol braces as well as against anti-gun laws in New York and Oregon.

The Iowa Firearms Coalition helped Iowa amend its state constitution with a guarantee of the right to keep and bear arms and is supporting a state bill that would allow gun owners to keep their carry firearms in their cars when parked at locations that ban carry inside.

Celerant Integrates With Gunstores.com Marketplace

Celerant Technology has announced a partnership with Gunstores.com, a new online marketplace for firearms. Through Celerant’s point of sale, dealers can display and sell store inventory on Gunstores.com with local same-day pickup – enabling dealers to expand their market reach and increase online sales, regardless of whether they have an e-commerce website.

“Gunstores.com is excited to partner with Celerant Technology,” stated Brad Canter, director of marketing for Gunstores.com. “With many of our dealers already using Celerant, this integration will streamline and automate the process of showing their local in-stock inventory.”

With Celerant’s integration with Gunstores.com, firearm dealers can boost online sales and reach new, local customers who may not have been aware of their store and/or website. Dealers can also sell more products in-store once the customer arrives to pick up/complete their order, and even turn them into new, lifelong customers. The integration helps to increase a dealer’s online presence, whether they have their own e-commerce site or not, and boost search engine rankings for dealers that already have a website.

“With consumers shopping online more than ever, it’s vital for dealers to have an online presence,” stated Zeke Hamdani, Celerant director of web services. “Our integration with Gunstores.com provides our dealers with a great opportunity to sell more products online and expand their market reach so local customers can find their business online, even if they don’t have their own website.”

Big Horn Armory To Donate $3,500 To Wyoming Wildlife Federation

Big Horn Armory (BHA), makers of big-bore firearms, will be donating $3,500 to the Wyoming Wildlife Federation (WWF) to help support its Hunters for the Hungry Program (H4H). This donation will help educate hunters on how they can participate in the program and teach them how to donate meat to H4H for food-insecure communities.

“Since we’ve partnered with WWF in 2020, we’ve been able to donate $8,500 that has been used to educate hunters and support meat donation to food-insecure families within Wyoming. We are happy to work with such a worthy cause that helps impact our fellow citizens of Wyoming,” commented Greg Buchel, president of Big Horn Armory.

WWF’s H4H Program began in the fall of 2018. H4H is looking to deepen its hunter donations with its incredible partnering processors in Lander and Jackson, Wyo., in the future. Over the past four years, over 14,100 meals have been donated through the program to food-insecure communities.

“The continued support of Big Horn Armory and their customers is immense for WWF’s ability to communicate within the Hunters for the Hungry network. We have been able to reach more hunters in specific locales about this opportunity to donate game meat because of the past support of Big Horn Armory,” said Wyoming Wildlife Federation’s Executive Director Joy Bannon.

The H4H Program was created to connect hunters and meat processors with charitable food organizations to provide high-quality nutrition to community members in need. This program builds on a foundation of conservation stewards who look to give back to local communities by sharing the harvest and cultivating meaningful connections across Wyoming.
