Henry Repeating Arms and Big Woods Bucks Launch a Specialized .308 Carbine for Deer Season

Henry Repeating Arms is now shipping the H14 Long Ranger Big Woods Carbine, designed in collaboration with Big Woods Bucks (BWB) for whitetail deer hunting in tight timber. The rifle was unveiled at a launch event held at Frank’s Gun Shop in Amsterdam, New York, with representatives from both Henry Repeating Arms and Big Woods Bucks on hand.

The carbine features a shortened 18.5-inch round blued steel barrel, bringing the overall length down to 39 inches and the weight under 7 pounds. It’s fitted with a factory-installed Skinner peep sight at the rear, paired with a bright fiber optic front sight. The combination is designed for the low-light, fast-acquisition demands of timber hunting.

Chambered in .308 Win / 7.62×51 NATO, it carries four rounds through a geared lever action with a six-lug rotating bolt face for strong and consistent lock-up. The receiver is machined from aircraft-grade aluminum with a hard-anodized matte black finish.

BWB is a group of expert woodsmen from the Northeast known for their immersive approach to traditional whitetail hunting in heavy timber. The genuine American walnut buttstock carries the BWB logo engraved and colored in green plaid, marking the rifle’s collaborative origins and intent.

The H14 Long Ranger Big Woods Carbine carries an MSRP of $1,500 and is now available through Henry’s authorized dealer network. For more information, visit henryusa.com.

Fusion Firearms is a Venice, Florida-based manufacturer delivering competition-grade pistols built to the highest standards in the industry. Both lines feature hard coat anodized aluminum frames, CNC-machined steel slides, and finish options including QPQ Black, actual Hard Chrome, and PVD color coatings. Every pistol ships with a match-grade barrel, fiber optic front sight, adjustable rear sight, and a pre-milled optic plate ready for a red dot (RMR, RMSc/K).
