Slingit Launches First AI-Powered Platform for Gun Owners
Slingit launched its free AI-powered mobile app for gun owners, introducing a new approach to firearm identification, valuation, and collection management. The app is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The Slingit app enables users to identify, catalog, and track the value of their firearms using AI. By scanning a firearm with a smartphone camera, Slingit identifies the make and model and detects common aftermarket accessories, including optics, sights, lights, lasers, suppressors, and magazines. Its vision model assigns a condition grade and generates a market estimate using a proprietary algorithm tuned specifically for used firearms.
Slingit was originally developed for use by licensed firearm dealers to support used gun identification and valuation in retail environments. The same technology now powers the consumer app, bringing professional-grade capabilities to individual gun owners.
