Portable Shooting Barricades Offer More Ways To Train
The Portable Tactical Simulated Barricade (PTSB) brings simulated cover-and-concealment practice to the range. It’s a portable, two-part training barricade for firearms instruction and competition practice. The detachable upper barricade slides in a center guide on a base barricade with a folding stand; it also converts to countertop use. It then folds flat for transport and storage.
The patented design combines portability, adjustable height, and an independent countertop base to make practice more accessible.

The New NFA Landscape: Compliance, Operations and Sales Strategy Post-ATF Guidance
Tuesday, October 27 | 3 p.m. ET
Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs) are invited to an essential compliance webinar examining complex NFA operations following ATF’s Oct. 9, 2026, Open Letter and Q&A updates.
This presentation examines ATF’s revised enforcement discretion policy — including shifts around Form 3 and Form 4 processing for silencers, SBRs, SBSs and AOWs — while emphasizing the critical need for continued compliance with core Gun Control Act (GCA) requirements like Form 4473, NICS checks, recordkeeping and state-law verification. During this webinar, we will discuss:
• Current Guidance & Operational Compliance: Navigate interim rules for short-barreled firearms, dealer-to-dealer transfers, SOT/manufacturing obligations and inventory reconciliation.
• State-Level Risk Management: Manage state-law risks created by the absence of federal NFA registration requirements under this enforcement shift.
• Practical Business Strategies: Implement actionable digital workflow tools, eForms troubleshooting and NFA sales optimization strategies.
Spartan Precision Equipment Introduces the Pent System Kit
The Pent System Kit is a modular upgrade that adds a fifth leg to Spartan Quad Sticks, creating a self-supporting shooting platform that enhances stability, supports the rifle’s weight, and reduces shooter fatigue during extended periods in the field.
Designed for hunters who may need to remain in position while waiting for a clear, ethical shot, the Pent System converts Spartan Quad Sticks into a five-legged support system. The extra point of ground contact helps prevent the shooting sticks from tipping and allows the system to support the rifle’s weight, reducing the effort required to maintain a steady, ready-to-fire position.
The Spartan Pent System Kit has a suggested retail price of $150.00. It is available at retailers nationwide and online at javelinbipod.com.
Warne Introduces Universal Receiver Red Dot Mount for Shotguns and Rifles
Warne’s new Universal Receiver Red Dot Mount is a versatile mounting solution designed to attach reflex-style red dot optics directly to most drilled-and-tapped firearm receivers, featuring a low-profile design and broad optic compatibility.
Designed to work with many popular reflex-style optic footprints, including RMR, Docter, RMS-C, DeltaPoint etc. The Universal Receiver Red Dot Mount provides a streamlined way to add a red dot sight without unnecessary bulk. Its two-hole mounting system uses existing receiver holes with spacings between .475” to 1.61”, with an oblong mounting hole to accommodate a variety of hole spacing patterns.
While designed primarily for drilled-and-tapped shotguns, the mount can also be used with select rimfire rifles, including the popular Ruger 10/22 platform, and other compatible rifle models.
