Krieghoff International Appoints President, VP

Krieghoff International announced Alex Diehl was appointed president and CEO and Ken Pfau was appointed VP, general operations. Their leadership responsibilities extend across all aspects of the company’s operations. Along with these appointments, Founder Dieter Krieghoff assumed the position of chairman.

A company press release stated, “We are confident our staff, business partners and customers will find Alex Diehl and Ken Pfau knowledgeable and responsive partners ready for the challenges and opportunities the future will bring.”

Diehl joined the company in 2007 as GM, and most recently served as COO. He held various management positions in the firearms industry in Germany and the U.S. prior to joining Krieghoff.

Pfau joined the senior management team of Krieghoff International in 2018. His industry experience includes stints with companies such as FN USA and Rio Ammunition.

D. Russell

BPI Outdoors NameS Brand Manager

BPI Outdoors/Bergara Rifles recently promoted Dakota Russell to the position of brand manager for its Bergara Division. In this role, Russell is responsible for all aspects of brand management for Bergara. He will oversee the creation and management of product and projects aligning with the Bergara brand.

Nate Treadaway, CEO of BPI stated, “I’ve really enjoyed watching Dakota’s professional development over the past few years. He has a natural eye for the market, is passionate about our products and is a perfect fit to drive the direction of our Bergara brand for the future.”

Russell began his career with BPI in the customer service department in 2013. He was promoted several times to positions such as sales coordinator, director of North America OEM sales for Bergara Barrels and most recently, national sales manager.

G. Narvacan

Primary Arms Taps Creative Manager

Guillermo Narvacan has joined Primary Arms as its creative manager where he will work cross-functionally throughout the company to develop company brands with video, photo and graphic content.

“Guillermo brings a wealth of knowledge that will make a great creative team even better,” said Ken Ross, Primary Arms’ director of outbound marketing.

A graduate of Spring Hill College, Narvacan studied art and advertising, leading to career in visual arts and graphic design. He has worked with brands including Humana, Makers Mark, the Kentucky Derby, Boucheron, Louisville Slugger and HP.

M. Nyman

Lyman Products Hires VP

Lyman Products announced the appointment of Matthew Nyman as the new VP of sales and marketing. He will assume responsibility for all of Lyman’s sales and marketing activity on a worldwide basis as well as brand development of Lyman’s numerous product lines with particular emphasis on the new Mark 7 Division.

He joins Lyman with over 20 years’ experience in the shooting sports industry, most recently as director of sales at Aimpoint. He also held management positions with FN Herstal, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Smith & Wesson and Benelli USA.

Nyman earned an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.

Crow Shooting Supply Advances Manager

Crow Shooting Supply announced the promotion of Troy Rahn to regional sales manager where he will manage and direct the sales force, develop and maintain key relationships and look for ways to market to both existing and new customers in his new role.

“Troy will be our strategic leader and face of the business within the independent brick-and-mortar channel of the shooting sports industry,” said Crow Shooting Supply Director of Sales Shawn McGuire.

Rahn started in the firearms and outdoors industry during his college years with a summer job at Federal Ammunition. Prior to joining the company two years ago, he worked for AcuSport and Ellett Brothers.

Marolina Outdoor Inc. Makes Corporate Team Changes

Marolina Outdoor Inc. announced Pete Angle moved from his position as chief marketing officer to the role of company president. In addition, Mike Cottell, EVP of manufacturing and supply chain, now serves as chief operations officer. Lastly, Chris Russell was hired as VP of marketing for both Huk and Nomad.
