Introducing and marketing the brand to the U.S. market will be the job of Uberti USA Brand Manager Tom Leoni.
“The sheer beauty of Chapuis guns and their impeccable reputation for high-quality and durability makes them a fantastic addition to our family of brands,” said Leoni.
Imported under Chapuis USA, initial U.S. offerings will include two shotgun models — the Chasseur side-by-side and the Faisan over-under — and the Elan Double Rifle.
Benelli USA Adds French Manufacturer Chapuis to Portfolio
A longtime leader in hunting, sporting and defense shotguns and rifles, Benelli USA has announced the addition of Chapuis Armes to its stateside portfolio. The announcement comes two years after Beretta Holding — parent company to Benelli, Beretta, Burris, Franchi, Uberti, Stoeger, Tikka and others — acquired a majority stake in the premium French firearms manufacturer.
A brand by hunters for hunters, Chapuis has been engineering and producing some of Europe’s finest hunting shotguns and rifles for over 100 years, building a reputation for firearms as dependable as they are beautiful.
Chambered in 12, 20 and 28 gauge, the Chasseur is designed for the serious upland hunter, available in Classic and Artisan finishes featuring dual 28” barrels with five interchangeable choke tubes, double triggers, engraved receivers and satin walnut wood stocks. MSRP is $4,359–10,259, depending on model.
Offered in the same three calibers, the Faisan is at home both in the field and on the sporting range. Also available in Classic and Artisan finishes, the over-unders feature two 28” barrels with interchangeable flush chokes, engraved receivers, automatic ejectors and sati walnut wood stocks with pistol grip. MSRP is $4,159–9,959, depending on model.
Lastly, the Elan is an African-style double rifle chambered in 375 H&H FL, .450-400 Nitro Express and .470 Nitro Express. Modernizing the traditional look, the Elan is available in Classic and Artisan finishes featuring 24/25.5” barrels, double triggers, engraved receivers, ejectors, express sights and Recknagel scope bases, and satin walnut wood stocks with pistol grip. MSRP is $10,359–20,359, depending on model.
All Chapuis firearms carry a two-year warranty for raw material and manufacturing flaws.
