PWS Partners With Rescue 22 Foundation Shooting Team
Primary Weapons Systems is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Rescue 22 Foundation Shooting Team. PWS will be the team’s exclusive rifle sponsor, providing team members with PWS piston-driven rifles to shoot in competitions.
Rescue 22 Foundation (R22) is committed to addressing the mental and physical health of veterans with service-connected disabilities. The R22 team works to provide trained service dogs to those with medically complex cases and improve their quality of life. Each service dog trained is given a new purpose and a chance to make a profound impact on a veteran’s life. To promote this cause, the R22 Foundation developed a shooting team composed of veterans who compete across the U.S. alongside their service dogs in order to raise awareness for R22 Foundation and show the positive impact service dogs have on veterans.

Silencer Central Makes Second Contribution To NSSF’s Protect Liberty PAC
The NSSF’s Protect Liberty Political Action Committee (Protect Liberty PAC) announced Silencer Central gave its second $25,000 contribution. Silencer Central’s financial support, now totaling $50,000, will be utilized to elect candidates who are dedicated to preserving and protecting liberty, freedom and the Constitutional rights of all Americans, especially our Second Amendment rights which are under constant attack by Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for president and Biden administration “gun czar.”
“Less than 60 days remain until Americans decide what the country and the Constitution will look like in the future. Our freedoms and liberties, especially our Second Amendment rights, could be wiped away by a Harris administration. Silencer Central is doing all it can to ensure that does not happen. NSSF’s Protect Liberty PAC received a second $25,000 contribution from Silencer Central and it could not have come at a better time,” said Lawrence G. Keane, Protect Liberty PAC treasurer.

Protect Liberty PAC is a federally registered “super PAC” founded in 2023 by NSSF. Protect Liberty PAC is an independent-expenditure only political committee and can accept unlimited personal and corporate contributions from companies in or outside of the industry, so long as they do not have federal contracts. Protect Liberty PAC will expressly advocate for the election or defeat of specific candidates and that advocacy will be completely independent of any candidate or political party.
Contributions to Protect Liberty PAC are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires Protect Liberty PAC to use its best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and the name of employer of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Protect Liberty PAC can accept unlimited personal and corporate contributions. However, contributions from foreign nationals, federal contractors, national banks, and federally chartered corporations are prohibited.

Gun Tote’n Mamas’ PreLoved Bag Program Open For Instructors
Gun Tote’n Mamas (GTM) PreLoved Bag Program, exclusively for certified instructors, is underway again.
This program was created especially for the wide network of certified instructors who aim to utilize GTM products in the curriculum of their firearms education classes. By utilizing the program, instructors can easily and cost-effectively gain access to GTM’s trusted line of concealed carry bags and purses to utilize in their classes of all levels, including Off Body/ FlexCCarry.
Instructors around the country are invited to participate in the program by sending an email to gtm@guntotenmamas.com requesting program information. Instructors can specify what size concealed carry purse they most use in their off-body curriculum so GTM can match them as supply allows.
For a $35 donation plus the cost of shipping, instructors will be able to receive up to three gently used GTM bags. The donation not only covers refurbishing, but a portion will also go to Armed Women of America, A Girl & A Gun, Shoot Like A Girl and other women-centric organizations in the industry. GTM’s team evaluates returned bags and ensures every bag sent in this program is 100% safe to use. Supply is limited, and GTM will select bags for instructors based on availability.

Western Kentucky University PD Selects Gunsite GLOCK Service Pistol As Duty Sidearm
Gunsite Academy announced the Western Kentucky University Police Department has chosen the Gunsite GLOCK Service Pistol as the duty sidearm for the agency.
Located at Western Kentucky University, the KLEC-POPS certified officers have full police powers, including arrest powers, under Kentucky Revised Statute 164.955. The agency employs 23 sworn police officers, nine communications officers, two student workers and one office coordinator. The department provides services to the WKU main campus and additional properties owned by Western Kentucky University, which includes the South Campus, The Center, Lost River Cave and The WKU AG Center.
