Springfield Armory: SA-35

Springfield Armory has released the SA-35 9mm — a modern take on a revered design created by John Moses Browning. Made in the U.S., the SA-35 takes advantage of modern materials and manufacturing techniques, while still retaining the appeal of the original P-35 design.

The pistol also features numerous performance and ergonomic enhancements. These include subtle but significant changes to barrel feed ramp and extractor geometry to ensure the pistol will work with today’s cutting-edge defensive rounds. Further upgrades include a factory-tuned trigger, 15-round flush-fit magazine, beveled magazine well, recontoured “no-bite” hammer design, modern Tactical Rack sights, extended thumb safety and more.

“With the release of our U.S.-made SA-35, Springfield Armory is giving shooters a highly sought-after design with the features and upgrades they demand,” said Steve Kramer, Springfield Armory VP of marketing.

Another quality of the SA-35 is its parts compatibility with the original design. This ensures users have access to the broad selection of aftermarket parts and accessories available today.

CZ-USA: SP-01 Competition Red & Blue Pistols

The new CZ SP-01 Competition Red & Blue Pistols builds on its proven lineage, adding match-ready upgrades and race-gun features for competition shooters.

The new competition model inherits its build quality from its parent model, the SP-01. The pistol includes a competition hammer giving it a crisp, light trigger pull. A lightened hammer spring adds to a feeling of responsiveness in-hand.
Additionally, the SP-01 Competition Red & Blue uses a lighter recoil spring for running target loads.

The pistols feature a 4.6″ cold hammer-forged barrel for enhanced accuracy and performance. Inside, a steel guide rod adds shot-after-shot reliability and performance. On top of the slide, a fiber optic front sight and serrated rear sight provide precise aiming in a wide variety of lighting conditions. Milled grooves on the forward and rear of the slide enhance the shooter’s grip while racking.

Vibrant custom aluminum grips accentuate the pistol’s appearance, available in metallic red or blue — adding a sporty look to the pistol’s classic design while checkering improves its control during the heat of the match.
