Why Should You Support HAVA – Honored American Veterans Afield?
Look at all these smiles. Don’t rush past each image. Really study these faces, the faces of those who served our country in uniform and their families. We love those smiles. But behind the smiles are wounded combat veterans and dramatically impacted families — lives forever changed. HAVA is devoted to helping these vets and their families heal from wounds, both seen and unseen.
In 2015, HAVA served more than 1,200 veterans and their families at Family Days and on hunting trips. In 2016, HAVA will expand with additional hunts and a new long-range shooting program. The organization will hold three Family Days and is evaluating proposals from ranges to possibly add two more of these popular family events.
HAVA, by design, is not about those who run the organization or its sponsors and supporters. It’s about the veterans and their families. It’s about all those smiles.
