Orchid’s New Technology Integrates Inventory, E-Commerce & Regulatory Applications
Orchid Advisors announces new technology that enables near plug-and-play integration between firearm inventory, e-commerce and regulatory business applications. The technology creates a single point of data entry for firearm transactions, mitigating significant IT development, data entry labor and ATF inspection risk. Orchid’s technology provides a simple and flexible solution for FFLs seeking to modernize their business operations.
“The pace of FFL investments in new software continues to accelerate,” said Jon Rydberg, CEO of Orchid Advisors. “We are contacted on a near daily basis by FFLs who seek an integrated business and regulatory solution, connecting basic inventory activities to an electronic Bound Book or ATF eForms application. Our software creates this type of integration with a simple connector routing transactions such as firearm receipts or shipments to flow between programs.”
The following are notable features of Orchid’s technology release:
Addresses GCA / NFA firearm inventory transactions such as Serialization, Assembly, Receiving, Shipping, Destruction and non-licensee Transfers;
Integrates with Epicor, Microsoft 365, Quickbooks, Sage 100/300, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle and others;
Provides simplified integration with ATF compliance software (Electronic Bound Book and ATF eForms); and Permits integration with third party applications such as Magento, Amazon, eBay and FedEx.
Orchid also upgraded its Electronic Bound Book functionality by simplifying high-volume serial number entry and improving NFA firearm tracking. FFLs seeking Orchid’s technology can access it through the firm’s online software portal, FFLBizHub, which includes a free 30-day trial or subscriptions beginning at $10 per month.
