Davidson’s announced the recent promotion of John Trull to EVP where he will focus on marketing and operations areas in addition to his current responsibilities of helping define and implement new growth strategies and oversee key company special projects.
Davidson’s President and CEO Bryan Tucker stated, “I am confident [Trull] can really help us deliver new innovative dealer and consumer services, increase our marketing effectiveness and improve our overall operational efficiencies.”
Prior to joining Davidson’s in 2017, Trull served as CEO of Hunters Specialties. He also has previous experience as Remington Arms’ director of marketing and SVP/GM of the firearms division.
BPI Outdoors Promotes Sales/Marketing VP
BPI Outdoors announced the promotion of Jason Sebo to VP of sales and marketing for its CVA Division. He is responsible for all U.S. and Canada sales for the division, as well as all aspects of brand management for its various brands (CVA, PowerBelt Bullets, Quake and DuraSight) as GM Dudley McGarity prepares to retire.
Sebo joined BPI’s customer service department in 2011 before transitioning to director of North America OEM sales for Bergara Barrels and, most recently, national sales manager for the CVA Division.
Kalashnikov USA Taps Sales/Marketing VP
Kalashnikov USA recently welcomed Bill Gentry as VP of sales and marketing. Gentry previously held the position of president and COO for a major firearms manufacturer and a national and international manufacturer and distributor of shooting sports and outdoor products.
Gentry shared, “Under the leadership of Jonathan Mossberg, the basic principle of ‘only the best possible product’ has been instilled throughout the entire Kalashnikov USA family. I will couple that with a customer service department that will stand behind our product like no other, and take care of every customer as though they are our most important.”
SIG SAUER Inc. Names Operations VP
Jeff Powers joined SIG SAUER as VP, operations and continuous improvement. He will work to streamline manufacturing operations and processes to increase productivity and oversee continuous improvement.
“Jeff has hit the ground running since he joined the SIG SAUER organization and we are already seeing the positive effects of his leadership,” said Ron Goslin, SIG COO.
Previously, he led the LEAN transformation of Watts Water Technologies’ flagship facility. Powers also spent 17 years at Thermo Fisher Scientific. He is black belt certified in the Six Sigma methods of individual processes, and has a Master’s in management and leadership.
Streamlight Inc. Welcomes Sales Manager
Tony Casciano, Jr. joined Streamlight as the Northeast regional sales manager for the fire and industrial markets. He is responsible for driving sales and working with independent sales representatives and distributors with an emphasis on end-user activity to increase revenues and market penetration within their designated territory.
Casciano previously served as manufacturing account manager for Grainger Industrial Supply and a fire protection specialist for Cintas. He earned a B.S in business management from Westfield State University.
Callis Integrated Marketing Advances Digital Marketing Manager
Upon his promotion, Kyle Meek is Callis’ new digital marketing manager. He will lead and manage all components of digital output for the agency and clients and work closely with the creative and account teams. Meek will lead the planning, development, optimization and maintenance of modern websites and lead the Callis team in digital advertising strategy, SEO strategy and implementation, marketing automation and data analysis.
Meek is Google Ads and Analytics certified. He earned a B.S. in graphic technologies from the University of Central Missouri.
Outtech Inc. Augments Outdoor Division
Craig Anderson, Erin McGee and Marc Brenner represent Outtech’s three new sales team members in the Outdoor Division.
Anderson, who will work with accounts in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky, has more than 15 years’ sales experience in the outdoor industry, at both the vendor and retail level. Additionally, he served as a specialist for the Army National Guard.
McGee will work with accounts in Oklahoma, Louisiana and northern Texas. He earned a degree in Business Management, Organizational Leadership and Marketing from the University of Arkansas.
Working with accounts in Tennessee, Alabama and northern Mississippi, Brenner brings over 15 years’ sales and marketing experience to his new role. He has served on the Pro Staff for Outtech and other national brands, and offering product-training seminars.
