Celerant Technology has collaborated with FastBound, a provider of ATF compliance software for FFLs, and FFLGuard, a legal services and compliance solutions program. Together these three entities offer firearm dealers a compliant retail solution for point of sale, electronic bound books, electronic 4473 and more.
Available on Stratus or Cumulus platforms, Celerant’s new integration with FastBound provides dealers with peace of mind and confidence during ATF inspections. Backed by FFLGuard, FastBound ensures electronic bound books are compliant by staying up to date with all the latest ATF regulation changes. Dealers using Celerant’s POS software with FastBound’s A&D software have access to FFLGuard QuickTips and a guaranteed legal defense with FFLGuard ATF Protection Plan Plus.
“The great work the Celerant team has done makes our attorney-backed A&D, 4473 and ATF compliance solutions as transparent as possible while staying compliant,” said Jason Smith, co-founder and CEO of FastBound. “Dealers now have a single source for retail software for stores, ranges, online and mobile; compliant A&D and 4473 available and legal support from FFLGuard.”
“Having our Celerant, FastBound and FFLGuard #TripleThreat as part of an FFL’s day-to-day operation assures the FFL all firearms compliance needs are accurately addressed 24/7 by qualified legal personnel and proven electronic providers. It’s the best of everything, all rolled into one solution for an FFL,” added Chris Chiafullo, FFLGuard national coordinating counsel.
Celerant’s new integration to FastBound featuring FFLGuard’s Protection Plan Plus will ensure bound book or 4473 forms stay compliant. FastBound detects and identifies errors and stops transactions from progressing when necessary, simplifies multiple purchase reports and more. With an assurance forms are completed correctly, and without duplication, the result is a reduction of risk of violations — since the majority of cited violations pertain to the 4473 or multiple purchase reports.
“With our focus on innovative in-store and online retail technology, combined with FastBound’s easy-to-use compliance software plus the expertise and legal guidance of FFLGuard dealers can automate their firearms business with an integrated solution providing comprehensive protection of their FFL and their business,” said Ian Goldman, Celerant Technology CEO and president.
Sports Inc. Launches Live Video Program Via Brandlive
Brandlive, the live video platform for brands and retailers, and Sports Inc., one of the largest sporting goods buying groups in the U.S. and Canada, have announced the launch of a live video training and sales program for Sports Inc. members.
Sports Inc. will use the Brandlive platform to launch new products, train its members around the country on new inventory and opportunities and provide special purchasing opportunities exclusively for its members through interactive live and on-demand video. Brandlive will work with the Sports Inc. team to align key vendor partners with the opportunity to create content, which will live on the Sports Inc. library pages and be accessible to the member base — both live and on-demand.
“Maintaining the focus of over 700 independent dealer locations across the country is a challenge,” said Andy Eames, Sports Inc. director of outdoor sports. “The opportunities this partnership creates for both our membership and vendor partners has huge potential for our vendors to interact and deliver their message firsthand and in a live format, directly to our membership across the country. We’re excited to begin working with the Brandlive team.”
“Working with Sports Inc. is a terrific opportunity for Brandlive’s vendor partners to deliver meaningful and relevant product training and information to the vast Sports Inc. member network of independent retailers in real time,” added Dustin Edwards, Brandlive senior director of audience partnerships. “This program allows Sports Inc. and their vendor partners the ability to easily and cost efficiently deliver content to their member base that, historically, can be a challenge for independent retailers across the country and in Canada.”
The Brandlive platform has powered over 10,000 events for brands and retailers, and brings together an optimal live and interactive experience: live streaming at scale, rich merchandising and e-commerce, robust audience interaction and a complete event registration system.
