PepperBall introduces the Tactical Compact Pistol (TCP), a pistol-sized multi-munition launcher. The TCP is 7.5-inches long and weighs about 21 oz. It’s designed to be worn comfortably on a L.E. officer’s belt, and is quickly reloaded with a six-round magazine. The TCP can fire standard PepperBall rounds or extended-range VXR projectiles. PepperBall round projectiles can be used for direct impact out to 60 feet and extended-range VXR projectiles for direct impact out to 150 feet. Longer ranges are achieved when deploying PepperBalls to saturate an area with PAVA powder. Nitrogen or CO2 are power sources, allowing it to function properly in extreme cold weather conditions.
Safariland announces the introduction of the Model 17 and 17T IWB concealment holsters. Ultra-thin and flexible, the holsters are lightweight and durable. The hard shell SafariLaminate thermo-formed construction ensures sturdiness, and they’re designed to maintain their shape. The Model 17 has a spring steel belt clip to securely anchor to belts and trousers, while the Model 17T features a cant-adjustable J-Hook attachment that makes it tuckable, further minimizing visibility. Both models fit up to a 1.75-inch width belt. Available in black STX finishes, the holsters’ initial fits are for Colt, GLOCK, SIG SAUER, Smith & Wesson, Springfield and Ruger handguns.
Available in mid-2018, the Desert Tech MDR will be chambered in .300 Blackout. Originally released in .308 Win. and .223 Wylde, the MDR allows easy caliber conversion. When the .300 Blackout version becomes available, MDR users will be able to swap in a 16-inch .300 Blackout conversion kit in as little as two minutes.
SB Tactical has introduced the SB-MAG20 and SB-SAC. The SB-MAG20 is a magazine pouch that mounts inside most SB Tactical AR braces and fits 5.56 aluminum GI, Magpul PMAG and Lancer L5AWM 20-round magazines. It comes with a 1-inch Velcro replacement strap and is available in black or FDE. The SB-SAC soft pouch is sized to accept a C-A-T tourniquet (or similar sized items), and designed to work with most SB Tactical pistol stabilizing braces. It can be mounted inside or outside the brace and is water, chemical, UV and corrosion resistant. The SB-SAC is compatible with 1- and 1.5-inch strap SB Tactical braces and is available in black or FDE.

ASP has introduced three news SKUs to the Ultra Cuffs line of handcuffs. Identifier Ultra Cuffs have color options to distinguish restraints of different agencies or divisions, or designate security or medical status. The cuffs feature an interchangeable, replaceable lockset with keyways on both sides of the cuff, and a high-visibility double-lock indicator. Training Ultra Cuffs have a special lockset that disengages when subjected to back pressure to facilitate “real-world” training with the added speed, safety and efficiency of keyless release (key is only required if cuffs are double locked). The Rigid Ultra Cuff offers a unibody style of restraint for maximum security and control of a subject.
The new iO Cover for the Aimpoint T-2 (iO-004) from TangoDown offers the same sleek and snug fit as the T-1 iO cover. The iO-004’s solid caps provide protection from lens damage. They conveniently nest together to keep them out of the way while the optic is in use. The iO-004 accommodates the following optics only: Aimpoint T-2/H-2/R-2. It’s available in black and Flat Dark Earth color options.
Fobus has launched its new appendix holster line with the APN43 for the GLOCK 43. The APN43 offers adjustable passive retention in a comfortable and concealable design. It features a unique, removable “comfort lever” that draws the firearm closer to the wearer’s body to reduce printing while also ensuring all day wearability. The APN43 also includes a detachable sweat guard and a belt clip that is both ambidextrous and adjustable for cant.
Black Hills Ammunition
The Black Hills HoneyBadger line features an expanded 2018 lineup, with new bullet weights and calibers: 9mm (100-gr.), .44 Spl. (120-gr.) and .47-70 (325-gr.). HoneyBadger is made with solid copper bullets and is non-deforming and non-fragmenting with wide, sharp flutes. The 9mm and .44 Spl. loads deliver velocities of 1,300 and 1,275 fps respectively. With availability in .45-70, HoneyBadger is now chambered for long guns — delivering 1,300 fps.
Pulsar has unveiled a new line of digital night vision attachments, the Forward F135 and F155. Designed to fit in front of a go-to day scope and convert it to a digital night vision optic, the Forward F attachment connects within seconds. Its 702×526 CMOS sensor and high-resolution 640×480 AMOLED display provide seamless clarity and a detection range of 500 yards in the darkest of conditions. Included with the Forward F series is a modular 940nm LED IR illuminator, quick change rechargeable nine-hour battery pack, lens covers, carrying case, charging kit, MicroUSB cable, lens cloth and user manual.
Inspired by battle-tested backpacks, 5.11 Tactical debuts the Rapid Origin Pack — a lightweight, medium-sized solution for a variety of applications. Built with a large drop-front inverted U opening, the interior is easy to access and has a padded compartment to keep laptops safe and secure. Made from color-contract 600D polyester, the Rapid Origin features multiple quick release and adjustable straps for a customized fit. The Rapid Origin Pack also has a large web platform on the front, enabling users to add pouches or gear, a secure CCW compartment and an internal admin panel.
The Lite-Fighter EX Combat Utility Knife from DoubleStar is designed for tactical and everyday use. The knife features a 4.75-inch Nitro-V steel blade, coarse G10 handle and tumble finish. Its overall length is 9.5 inches, and it weighs 8.7 oz. A Boltron sheath with Tek Lok attachment is included.
Daniel Defense Inc.
Daniel Defense introduces the DDM4V7 P. The highly maneuverable pistol pairs a 10.3-inch barrel and a MFR 9.0 rail for fast handling, accuracy and reliability. It’s compatible with a wide variety of muzzle devices and sound suppressors. Features include M-LOK attachment technology and a Daniel Defense pistol grip with integral trigger guard and soft touch overmolding. A variation of the DDM4V7 S, it features the SB Tactical SOB Pistol Stabilizing Brace with the Law Tactical GEN 3-M AR Folding Stock Adapter. The DDM4V7 P’s classification as a pistol makes it exempt from ATF approval and a tax stamp.
IWI has introduced its first bullpup shotgun, the TAVOR TS12. The 12-ga. gas regulated, smoothbore semi-auto shotgun feeds from one of three magazine tubes, each capable of holding four, 3-inch shotgun shells or five, 2-inch shotgun shells. The internal muzzle threads are compatible with Benelli/Beretta choke tubes (one choke tube is included). Length is 28.34 inches, and it has a one-piece, full-length 1913 Picatinny top rail with M-LOK receptacles integral in each side of the forearm of the shotgun body. Currently available in a black finish, later versions will include Olive Drab Green and Flat Dark Earth.
Built to meet the requirements of military or L.E. professionals, the Advanced Tactical SOC II (Special Operations Capable) from Kimber boasts an adjustable aluminum folding stock, detachable box magazine and a threaded muzzle with thread protector. The 22-inch barrel is finished in matte black and has a 1:10-inch twist rate. Various accessories are easily attached with the M-LOK accessory rail, night vision mount and 1913 Mil-Spec tripod mount. It weighs 11 lbs., 8oz., and is available in 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Win.
PROTECH Tactical presents the X Series line of ballistic shields. A standout feature of the X Series boltless shield line is a molded ballistic lens cap integrated into the ballistics of the shield, creating a stronger, more lightweight product. This design eliminates points of weakness, ensures ballistic integrity and reduces overall shield weight by approximately 20 percent. It’s available in the following models: Mighty Mite X (18×30″, 11 lbs.), Defender X (20×34″, 13 lbs.), Entry I X (24×36″, 18 lbs.), Entry I FR X (24×36″, 12 lbs.) and Entry II X (24×48″, 21 lbs.). Magpul Industries Corp.
The Pro 700 Rifle Chassis from Magpul is a precision rifle chassis for short action Remington 700 actions and other Remington 700 footprint actions. It’s fully ambidextrous and has a reversible cheek rise and reversible hinge (on the folding version). Length of pull, buttpad height, comb height and cheek riser are adjustable. M-LOK slots enable accessory mounting on the forend and stock. An integrated AICS-pattern mag well is optimized for PMAG 5 and PMAG 10 7.62 AC magazines, as well as most other AICS pattern short action magazines. The Pro 700 weighs 5.4 lbs. and is 32.7–34.6 inches long overall.
From FLIR, the multifunctional Breach is the company’s lightest, most compact, full-featured 320×240 thermal monocular. Powered by FLIR’s 12-micron high-performance Boson thermal core, the Breach delivers crisp images on a high-definition display, with recording and internal storage of up to four hours of video and 1,000 still images. In addition, it includes a digital compass, inclinometer and seven color palette options for enhancing the imaging experience. Weighing only 7.4 oz., it can be concealed in a pocket or mounted to a helmet.
Blue Force Gear
Named after an allied deception operation during WWII, the Tracer Pack from Blue Force Gear was designed to add additional capability in a day pack-sized format. The new bag features side water bottle pockets, an integrated laptop sleeve and a quick access pocket on top of the pack for sunglasses/travel. Its highly durable design incorporates ULTRAcomp high-performance laminate on the bottom and along the front side’s Helium Whisper MOLLE attachment system.
The Gen 2 Cowl Induction Brake (CIB) from ZRODelta has a sleek tapered design meeting 3-Gun competition requirements (less than 1-inch diameter), and achieves a recoil reduction of up to 72 percent. Available calibers include .223/5.56, 6.5 and .30. Horizontal ports minimize ground signature to keep debris away from the user. It weighs 0.35 lbs. and has an overall length of 2.86 inches. The standard finish has a matte black nitride coating, and Cerakote colors are available. A shim set is included.
New Auxiliary Ballistic Laser (ABL) 1000/1500 Laser Rangefinders from ATN make instantaneous POI adjustments to a reticle. Both models are compatible with ATN SMART HD Day, Night and Thermal Riflescopes. Models offer precision to +/– 1 y/m, are waterproof and operate on a single CR123A battery. The ABL 1000 has a range of 5–1,000 y/m. The ABL 1500’s range is 5–1,500 y/m.
The 5.56x45mm-caliber FN SCAR-SC has an extremely compact design ideal for special response teams and SWAT. Specifically adapted for mobility and flexibility, the FN SCAR-SC is offered in the U.S. as select-fire only with a non-reciprocating charging handle and telescoping buttstock. Its overall length is 25.71 inches fully extended, barrel length is 7.5 inches and weight is 6.94 lbs. Magazine capacity is 30 rounds and cyclic rate of fire is 550–650 rounds per minute.
With all of the features of its popular Camp 10 machete, Kershaw’s Camp 10 Tan has a distinctive black blade with tan handle. The Camp 10 Tan’s 10-inch blade is made of 65Mn carbon tool steel for strength and resistance to wear. A black powder coat finish protects the steel and makes maintenance easier. The handle has a built-in hand guard and is drilled in both the front and rear for lanyard attachment. It comes with a matching molded sheath with lash points and nylon straps. Weight is 1 lb., 2.3 oz.
The optics-ready TROYPAR A2 (Pump Action Rifle) features a full TRX2-style top rail with integrated pump action for accuracy in a practically recoilless system. Highlights include an M4 front folding battlesight, 18-inch Melonite barrel, A2 fixed stock, TROY Medieval flash suppressor and TROY BattleAx pistol grip. Models are available in .223 or .308 caliber, and in black or Mossy Oak camouflage. The .223 model includes a 10-round TROY BattleMag, while .308 versions include a five-round magazine. The overall length is 37.25 (.223 caliber) and 39.25 (.308 caliber) inches, and it weighs 6.4 lbs. (.223) and 8.5 lbs. (.308).

WX Titan eyewear is the newest addition to Wiley X’s Climate Control Series. Titan glasses feature a true large to extra large fit with extended temple arms lengths and greater width from temple to temple. A removable facial cavity blocks out wind, dust and debris. Combinations offered include: Smoke Grey lens/matte black frame (Black Ops, [pictured]); Smoke Grey lens/matte black frame with Rx rim; clear lens/matte black frame and polarized Smoke Grey lens/gloss black frame. A zippered case, cleaning cloth and leash cords are included.
The Reformation from Franklin Armory is neither a rifle nor a shotgun. The unique firearm features NRSTM barrel technology: It has straight cut lands and grooves while retaining a standard chamber. As the barrel does not impart spin on the projectile, it does not meet the definition of “rifling.” Since an NRSTM bore has straight cut lands and grooves, Franklin Armory has engineered fin and flare stabilized projectiles and ammunition for near-MOA performance. Reformation firearms are available in .300 Blackout, with a 5.56 NATO model and ammunition coming soon.
Fabarm USA announces the STF 12 is now available in the U.S. Chambered in 12-gauge (3-inch), the STF 12 features an 18-inch barrel, fixed composite stock, Mil-Std 1913 rails at 12 and 6 o’clock (with optional rails at 3 and 9 o’clock), a total capacity of six rounds and an overall length of 36.54 inches. The STF 12 has two frame finish options: black anodized (non-glare) and Cerakote FDE. With the launch of the STF, Fabarm reported the Fabarm Professional division has entered the U.S. market and is taking on new tactical dealers in most territories.
Maxpedition Hard-Use Gear
Designed around a Non-Tactical/Tactical (NTT) concept, the new Entity line of backpacks from Maxpedition focuses on discreet concealed carry. A sleek, modern exterior devoid of characteristics typically associated with the “tactical look” masks an interior optimized for organization and situational readiness. Five models are available.
Nightforce has added an Advanced Tactical Riflescope (ATACR) in a 1-8 power with a 24mm objective lens. The new ATACR 1-8×24 F1 is engineered and built as a capable low-power variable riflescope. Measuring 10 inches in length and weighing 21 oz., the ATACR 1-8×24 F1 features a daylight-visible, center red dot for rapid engagements, and multi-coated ED glass that furnishes superb light transmission, brilliant images and exceptional color contrast. Samson Manufacturing introduces the Pocket Comp for S&W’s 9mm Shield. Designed to fit 1/2×28 threaded barrels, and use the factory recoil spring, the revolutionary two-part system uses a proprietary barrel nut as an attachment point. The Pocket Comp then slides over the barrel nut and is attached using hex head screws. This system allows for a solid interface with no chance of marring the barrel threads. When not using the Comp, the barrel nut can remain on the barrel acting as a thread protector. It’s machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum and Mil-Std hard coat anodized for durability.

Ontario Knife’s Spec Plus Alpha Combat is a full-skeleton tang, fixed-blade knife made from high-carbon steel. The SP-A Combat has an overall length of 10.8 inches with a 5.6-inch 57-59HRC blade with a durable phosphate coating. The patent-pending handle features ergonomically molded, synthetic rubber grip for a firm hold, even in wet conditions. The blade design is curved for optimal cutting and the razor-sharp point aligns with the back of the handle for durability and balance.

Safariland VIEVU’s LE5 camera provides industry-leading connectivity and adaptability to integrate with radios, smartphones, holsters, vehicles and other communication devices. The Bluetooth-enabled LE5 camera boasts two industry firsts: a user-selectable field of view and USB-C connection. It’s fully configurable to capture a classic 95 degrees, which replicates the human eye, a narrower 70 degrees for a focused view or a wide-angle 120 degrees. Adaptive Tactical has released its “Orange Less Lethal” EX Performance Forend and Adjustable Style Stock compatible with Mossberg 500, 88 and 590 series 12-ga. pump shotguns.
