If youre advertising in business publications
who claim to reach every Federal Firearms Licensee, then you are. |
||||
| Its true. A recent study revealed that several child care service providers are licensed to sell firearms. One of the largest list processing companies in the nation compared the current public records of BATF Federal Firearms Licensees against a database of 11 million businesses not once, but twice! Using the governments Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes, they confirmed that more than 2/3 of the active licensees actually have a primary business unrelated to the firearms industry or have no store front at all. In addition to child care services, other types of businesses licensed to sell guns include: marriage counselors, toy stores, and childrens apparel shops. Obviously these licensees are gun enthusiasts but theyre not gun stores and more than likely, never will be. Shooting Industry magazine spends thousands of dollars every year to identify and reach active, stocking gun dealers. Theyre the audience most likely to respond to your message. Other publications may be just pretending to give you what you need. If you want to reach consumers, use a consumer magazine. If you want to reach real, verifiable gun dealers with actual store fronts, use Shooting Industry.
